This project aims to improve legal and psychosocial support for women survivors of war violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Key initiatives include providing gender and trauma-sensitive support to witnesses participating in war crimes trials, empowering women survivors to achieve economic independence, and strengthening civil society structures

The project focuses on the following key initiatives:
Legal and Psychosocial Support: Providing specialized, trauma-informed care for survivors, especially those involved as witnesses in war crimes trials. This support includes legal assistance and psychological support, with the aim of addressing both psychological problems and legal challenges.
Economic Empowerment: Empowering women survivors in two targeted locations (Mostar and Brčko area) through business training and start-up grants, developing their entrepreneurial skills and independence. These activities include mini-grants for agriculture for women in rural areas such as Potoci and Vrapčići, and participation in regional fairs where they will promote local products.
Advocacy activities to improve the position of women survivors
Strengthening civil society organizations that bring together women victims of war violence: Building the capacity of survivor associations, supporting local reconciliation efforts, and creating support systems so that survivors can overcome legal, social, and economic challenges.
Through these comprehensive activities, the project aims to build lasting support systems, improve the well-being of survivors, and help them regain control over their own lives.
