Donation in the amount of KM 3,000 was donated to shelters in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka

On this year's beauty academy, organized by DM and held in Sarajevo on November 8, 2014, was held all-day event dedicated to the beauty at which the new autumn makeup trends were presented.

By the event beauty academy, dm campaign “Beautiful because I want !“ ends, in which beauty and makeup were the center of attention. Admira Isaković, head of the department for Supply and Marketing of dm drogeriemarkt, said: "With this event we wanted to tribute a day of beauty to all ladies on which they could find inspiration for their new makeup, learn a new trick and get expert advice and professional makeup. We believe that every woman wants to be beautiful and cared for and that embellishment has actually a positive effect on self-esteem and inner balance. At this year's beautyacademy, we have tried to draw attention to the problem of domestic violence. Unfortunately, in our society every second woman in the course of her life is faced with this problem. Safe houses play an important role in the process of protection of victims of violence, and by the donations we would like to support their work and provide support to their proteges , and to our fellow women citizens. "

To mark the upcoming International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, representatives of dm drogeriemarkt in this occasion gave a donation in the amount of KM 3,000 for shelters in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka. In this way the DM wants to provide support to women victims of violence and to draw public attention to the problems of domestic violence.

Representatives of shelters were thanked for the support and donated funds which will be used for the improvement of conditions of stay in shelters. The menager of the Safe house in Sarajevo, Mubera Hodžić Lemeš pointed out on behalf of her organization: "Foundation of Local Democracy“ appreciate this donation as a positive example of corporate social responsibility and believe that this example will serve to encourage other companies to support programs whose goals are directed towards helping the vulnerable groups.
