In light of recent attacks and initiatives directed at the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Adnan Delić, safe houses in FBiH have sent an open letter of support to Minister Delić
Dear Minister Delić,
We hereby express our deep gratitude and full support for your consistent, courageous and truly dedicated work to advance social justice and protect the dignity of the most vulnerable citizens in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially victims of domestic violence.
Your voice about the suffering of those who have been ignored by many for years has brought new hope.
Your work goes beyond political functions, it is based on the values of truth, dignity and justice. It is precisely because you have touched the sore spots that you are facing attempts to attack and discredit today. Those attempts are a reaction to your authenticity, successes and courage. The achieved results are probably an opportunity to misuse some of your publicly stated views for attacks on you as a successful minister and a man who showed social sensitivity for many issues and categories that have been neglected for years, such as victims of domestic violence and safe houses in FBiH.
That's why, Minister Delic, stay true to yourself. Continue to speak, express your views publicly, without political calculations, to act and to build a system in which the dignity of every human being has value. You are not alone in your struggle, with you are those who know what true responsibility and social sensitivity means.
