The City of Sarajevo continues to support the work of the Safe House

Thus, last week, the Agreement on the realization of approved funds in the amount of 10,000 KM from the Budget of the City of Sarajevo for 2022 was signed. The contract was signed by Benjamina Karić, Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, and Jasmina Mujezinović, Director of the Local Democracy Foundation.

As a reminder, Safe House is the only shelter for women and girls, victims of domestic violence in Sarajevo Canton.

The city of Sarajevo provides continuous support to the work of the Safe House and our program, which provides shelter for women, and victims of domestic violence, where they are also provided with psychological, socio-economic, and legal support. The funds presented will, as in previous years, be used for the costs of the beneficiaries' stay in the Safe House.
