Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence

On 7 October 2015 at 20.00 Sarajevo Television within its  program "Living Room", broadcast a program on the protection of children victims of domestic violence. In the current system of protection against domestic violence, a key role of prevention, protection and combating domestic violence has a "Coordination body for the prevention, protection and combating domestic violence", composed of the representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Displaced Persons and Refugees; The Ministry of the Interior; Ministry of Education, Science and Youth; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Justice and Administration and Foundation of Local Democracy. Emission in duration of 60 minutes is another contribution to the effort to improve social care for children and strengthen the accountability of all mentioned actors who care for children.  In the TV show participated: Jasmina Mujeznović, Executive Director of the Foundation of Local Democracy( the organization which runs a Safe House, SOS phone line, Center for legal aid..) Mirsada Poturković, Professional Assistant for the information and communication activities, PI "Cantonal Center for Social Work" and Irfan Nefić, Head of Public Relations, Ministry of Internal Affairs.
