The City of Sarajevo continues to support safe houses in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Yesterday (15.05.2025.), the signing of the contract on the implementation of funds from the Budget of the City of Sarajevo for co-financing the work of safe houses in BiH was held in the Sarajevo City Hall

With this signing, the Sarajevo City Administration continued to provide support to the work of the Safe House in Sarajevo, as well as to other safe houses in the FBiH and RS, for which funds in the total amount of 150,000 KM were allocated.

-       The city administration continuously supports the work of safe houses and we will continue this practice in the future. I am especially pleased with the fact that today, in addition to Sarajevo, we have representatives from all over the country: Bihać, Modriča, Bijeljina, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Zenica, Mostar. We want to raise our voice from the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina for all the residents, their safety, financial independence, and strength for a new beginning – said Mayor Predrag Puharić.

On behalf of the Foundation of Local Democracy, the Agreement was signed by Lejla Lojo-Karamehmedović, PR of the Foundation, and she thanked the City Administration of Sarajevo for the continuous support of the work of the Safe House in Sarajevo.
