We invite representatives of the media to attend the press conference that will be organized on the occasion of the Final Conference within the framework of the project "Development and promotion of health spa tourism in the cross-border area Bosnia and Herzegovina-Serbia - Cross Spa.".
The press conference will be held on 24th October 2014 in Sarajevo, in the Hotel Bristol (Fra Filipa Lastrića No. 2 ) beginning at 10:00 a.m., while the Final Conference will begin at 10:30.
The Final Conference is organized with the aim to present the successfully implemented project Cross Spa and achieved results of the project, financed by the European Union within the framework of the IPA cross-border cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina-Serbia. The project is worth € 452,152, and the implementation period was from April 2013 to October 2014.
The Conference will be attended by representatives of all participants in the project from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Journalists and participants of the conference will be addressed by Mr. Massimo Mina, Head of Operations Section for Social Development, Civil Society and Cross Border Cooperation of the EU Delegation in B&H.
The project is aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and sustainable economic development of the cross-border region of Bosnia and Herzegovina-Serbia, through the establishment of a joint integrated tourism offer for health spa tourism. The realization of the project improved the offer of health spa tourism by broadening the range of tourism services that promote healthy living and responsibility for one’s own health.
The leading implementer of the project is the Foundation of Local Democracy Sarajevo with its partner from Serbia the Tourist Organization of the Western Serbia region of Užice. Their partners in the project are the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor in Serbia.
