In the reform process of the migration system of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Law on Movement and Stay of Aliens and Asylum ceased to be effective and the new laws, Law on Foreigners and the Law on Asylum entered into force.
In joint work of NGOs specialized in providing free legal aid the Foundation of Local Democracy and the association "Vaša Prava BiH" made the analysis of the Asylum Act.
The goal of this analysis is to show significant changes with the adoption of the new Law on Asylum, as well as the negative aspects of the new regulation which did not provide an adequate solution, or did provide the solutions but in a manner less favorable than the previous law.
