As part of the project: "Safe together: Establishing non-traditional partnerships at the local level between safe houses and religious communities in BiH in order to improve the rights of survivors of sexual violence in war", the Local Democracy Foundation continues to provide free legal and psychological support services to women, victims of sexual violence in war
We remind women, victims of sexual violence during the war, who live and work in Sarajevo Canton, that they can get free legal and psychological support at the Women's Center (Bravadžiluk bb), with prior notice by phone: 033/570 - 560.
Besides that, as part of this project, the Local Democracy Foundation started a series of negotiations with representatives of the Islamic, Catholic, Orthodox, and Jewish religious communities in Sarajevo Canton with the aim of signing a protocol on cooperation.
The project "Safe together: Establishing non-traditional partnerships at the local level between safe houses and religious communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to improve the rights of survivors of sexual violence in the war", is implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Great Britain through the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in cooperation with the Association " Medica" Zenica, Association of Citizens "Vive Žene" Tuzla, Foundation "United Women" Banjaluka, Association of Citizens "Budućnost" Modriča, Foundation "Lara" Bijeljina, Association "Zene sa Una" Bihać and Association "Zena BiH" Mostar.
