Two-day training on the subject „STANDARDS AND TRENDS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION ON HEALTH TOURISM“ within the framework of the project “Development and promotion of health tourism in the cross-border region of Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - CROSS SPA!
On the
19th and 20th November 2013, a two-day training will be
held in the Centre for Medical Rehabilitation in Reumal Fojnica on the subject
„STANDARDS AND TRENDS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION ON HEALTH TOURISM“ for the middle
management of spa centres, the beneficiaries of the project „Development and
promotion of health tourism in the cross-border region of Serbia – Bosnia and
Herzegovina – CROSS SPA“.
The
training is part of the activity: improving knowledge and skills of employees
in the sector of medical tourism with the aim to reach EU standards. The
ultimate goal of the project is to through the development and marketing of a
new joint product - health tourism, improve the offer in the cross border area
through the expansion of the assortment of tourism products that promote healthy
living and responsibility for one's own health.
Renowned
experts in the field of health, spa and wellness tourism in the middle
managment of spas and spa and wellness centers from Fojnica, Olovo, and Ilidža
and the Zlatibor County, approach the standards of quality of Europa Spa med
and Europa Spa Wellness Association and the latest trends in health tourism.
A
certified trainer of the European Association of Spas (ESPA), with official
headquarters in Brussels will present standards and quality management services
in spas and wellness centers, and the process of certification. The second day
of training the expert in the field of tourism will speak about trends in
health tourism, strategic analysis and comparison of services of medical
tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and the EU, modern marketing
practices in health tourism and the promotion of health tourism services in
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
The
project is financed by the European Union under the IPA CBC Serbia - Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Implementation of the project activities started 1st April 2013 .
The project sponsors are Foundation of Local Democracy from Sarajevo and the
Tourist Organization of the region of Western Serbia from Užice. Project
partners are the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency SERDA in Bosnia and
Herzegovina and the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor in Serbia.
