Resocialization of victims of domestic violence

This project finansied by Municipality Old Town has been realized with the aim to improve the social status of women , children and girls, who are victims of violence, and their social inclusion through educating, informing, and visiting the cultural-historical monuments. By visiting the cultural-historical monuments at the municipality Old Town: Museum Svrzo's House, Despić House, Gazi Husref-begov bezistan, old Synagogue-Jewish  Museum and Museum of Sarajevo, the beneficiaries have acquired new knowledge from the history, tradition and culture of the town. Also, by baying the books and by bibliotherapy beneficiaries were provided with additional education from the field of parenting, social skills and communication skills. The benefits from this project for a local community are multiple. For the children from the Safe house this project has results in preventing the violent solving of conflicts, juvenile delinquency, contribution to development of thinking, creativity. For the women beneficiaries, the new visions and opportunities  in the aspect of social life have been opened up. Through the affirmation this institutions have benefitted from this visits as well,..The benefits were significant particularly due to fact that beneficiaries have never visited this institution before. During the solemn presentation, the beneficiaries presented their impressions of the program and presented the acquired knowledge in the field of parenting, communication skills, cultural heritage, history and traditions of the city.
