"Strong Women of Herzegovina" Support Safe House in Sarajevo

The fruits, grown in greenhouses that the Foundation allocated to the Association as part of the project, have now become an act of solidarity: from women who are building their self-confidence and stability, for women struggling with the consequences of domestic violence

Representatives of the Association Sumejja "Strong Women of Herzegovina" from Potok (Mostar) prepared a donation of organic fruits and vegetables for the beneficiaries of the Safe House in Sarajevo.

This symbolic, but warm and sincere donation is the result of the work and dedication of women involved in the project "Let's Embrace Opportunities Together", which is implemented by the Foundation of Local Democracy with the aim of economic empowerment and creating opportunities for a sustainable source of income.

The fruits, grown in greenhouses that the Foundation allocated to the Association as part of the project, have now become an act of solidarity: from women who are building their self-confidence and stability, for women struggling with the consequences of domestic violence.

Adisa Peco, president of the Sumejja Association "Strong Herzegovine Women", expressed her pride and joy in being able to provide support to the beneficiaries of the Safe House in Sarajevo.
The Foundation of Local Democracy thanks all members of the Sumejja Association for their dedication, work and message that women, when they come together, can be a strength to each other.
